Driven by this mission, we have created a transformative fellowship program designed to cultivate the next generation of aerospace professionals. By selecting driven, ambitious individuals seeking internships, the fellowship offers access to invaluable mentorship, hands-on industry experience, and professional development opportunities. Through this initiative, we strive to break down barriers, empower diverse talent, and build a more inclusive and innovative future for the aerospace community.

Tatiana Michel Villalobos
I am a Test and Reliability Engineer at Vital Lyfe, previously a Robotics Engineer at Honeybee Robotics! I was a 2023 Brooke Owens Fellow and graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where I studied Aerospace Engineering and Technology-Management.

Kimberly Miranda Reyes
I am a master's student in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder and a NASA Graduate Pathways Intern at Ames. Previously, I attended Caltech, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. I am a 2024 Brooke Owens Fellow and have had the opportunity to work with Iridium.

Amanda Gutierrez Nieves
I am a senior at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering . I am a 2021 Patti Grace Smith Fellow and a 2024 Brooke Owens Fellow, and have had the opportunity to work with ABL Space Systems, Pratt and Whitney and Venturi Astrolab.

Tatiana Jaimes
I am a Mechatronics Engineer at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory since 2023 and am a former NASA intern. I have a B.S. in Mechatronic Engineering from Vaughn College of Aeronautics and Technology and an M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Florida.

Paula Velez Ronda
I'm a comic artist and illustrator graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where I pursued a B.F.A. in Sequential Art. I am a mentee from ItsMe's 2026 Spring Illustration Program where I had the opportunity to further hone my visual communication skills.

This dream started among four Latinas who had found a space and shared passion within their own fellowship experience. They strove to create the same opportunities and sense of belonging they'd been afforded for their own community of Latin Americans within aerospace.
