Our team is united by a shared passion for space exploration and a deep commitment to advancing opportunities for Latinos and Hispanics in the aerospace industry. Driven by this mission, we have created a transformative fellowship program designed to cultivate the next generation of aerospace professionals. By selecting driven, ambitious individuals seeking internships, the fellowship offers access to invaluable mentorship, hands-on industry experience, and professional development opportunities. Through this initiative, we strive to break down barriers, empower diverse talent, and build a more inclusive and innovative future for the aerospace community.

Amanda Gutierrez Nieves
I am a junior at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayagüez Campus in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering . I am a 2021 Patti Grace Smith Fellow and a 2024 Brooke Owens Fellow, and have had the opportunity to work with ABL Space Systems, Pratt and Whitney and Venturi Astrolab.

Kimberly Miranda Reyes
I am a master's student at the University of Colorado Boulder studying Aerospace Engineering. Previously, I attended Caltech, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Aerospace Engineering. I am a 2024 Brooke Owens Fellow, and have had the opportunity to work with Iridium.
